Currently serving as the Reserve Commodore of NR DESRON 40, responsible for overseeing a Reserve Unit of 40+ officers and sailors that provides theater support to Commander, 4th Fleet and SOUTHCOM, including real world watch floor support, asset training, and logistical coordination for assets assigned to DESRON 40 and 4th Fleet.Currently employed as a Quality Director, leading the Customer Quality Experience Management (CQXM) team supporting the Medical Surgical portfolio at Medtronic, directly handling and reporting complaints for the Surgical, Endoscopy, Acute Care & Monitoring, and Ventilation Service Support operating units, responsible for regulatory reporting, audit support, continuous improvement and technical system enhancements across the enterprise customer quality team. 6+ years on active duty and 15+ years on reserve duty in the United States Navy, 4 years in the Naval Nuclear Engineering community, with 3 years served as a Division Officer on the U.S.S. Olympia SSN 717 stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and a Western Pacific deployment on the U.S.S. Key West SSN 722 performing missions vital to national security. Qualified Battle Watch Captain, Theater Undersea Warfare Watch Officer, and Theater Antisubmarine Warfare Watch Officer. Top Secret/SCI security clearance from the Department of Defense.
