Business Development and Outsourcing • Responsible for the management of outsourcing team in India. Established and managed diamond sourcing office in diamond bourse in Mumbai, India which procured 25M of diamonds with net saving of 15% on loose diamond sourcing. Successfully set up two job work factories in export zone in Mumbai, India, with 45% of production moved in house. This helped company save 15% on cost of purchase and gave company a competitive edge with other direct suppliers from India. Made company RJC(Responsible Jewelers Council) certified, a milestone that is mandatory to deal with fortune 500 customers. Registered and Established subsidiary of US company in India, hired and trained 5 managers and 75 employees working 24 hours in three shifts to support merchandising, artwork development, product development, sales analysis, account receivable and cold calling.
