   We give voice to the printed word.Your Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service (NFRRS) provides reading and audio information services to listeners who are blind, visually impaired, or have another print-disability that makes holding a book or turning a page difficult or impossible. The organization has been on-the-air for nearly 40 years and, with the help of hundreds of dedicated volunteers, broadcasts on-air and online live and recorded readings of local newspapers, magazines, books and other printed content 24/7. NFRRS has been an affiliate of Western New York Independent Living since December 2018.In July 2020 we added the Internet to our broadcast platform. Through our new Mobile App, popular podcast playesr and direct access to our live feed, listeners can now listen to virtually any program, when they want, wherever they are, on any Internet-connected device.On request, Listeners who can\'t, or don\'t want to, listen over the Internet will be provided a special radio receiver free-of-charge. The receivers are tuned only to our broadcast signal and provide instant, 24/7 access to our radio transmission.The NFRRS has broadcast more than hours of radio readings since 1987. The Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service is a trusted friend to those who face each day without sight and/or the ability to read, helping them to be active members of society and improving their quality of life.
