Lead/manage a team of 5 test engineers -Complete software testing and activities in conjunction for user stories within the Agile SDLC process -Review deliverables/activities as identified in the test plans for accuracy, consistency, completeness and compliance. Ensure adequate test coverage for every release -Mentor and provide day to day guidance to the junior members of the software test team. Review work to ensure compliance and quality -Provide feedback and suggest improvements to the Agile SDLC process -Provide project estimates and status reports-Create, review and enhance the metrics used to monitor status and progress -Represent the test team for respective project in cross-functional meetings Accomplishments-Established & communicated new workflows & best practices for greenfield projects. Some of which required cross-team coordination and multi day conference sessions -Completely overhauled department\'s test documentation (organizing, updating, fostering community ownership)-Researched & implemented new technical tools to run functional tests against the software that was previously tested with code reviews -Spearheaded the effort of automating jira workflows which led to decreased churn from poorly written tickets while ensuring the hand off of work between the manual and automation teams
