DRS Daylight Solutions produces Aerospace and Commercial MWIF Laser products. I lead the Quality Assurance team which focuses on Supplier Quality and the Quality Management System (fully compliant AS9100)- Successfully reduced supplier issues that reached the floor by 75% and overall reduced supplier issues by 100% by closely working with our key suppliers. This included Manufacturing Variance Control key characteristics passed to our suppliers and managed by them. This provide true process control (Cpk) for their components- Led the development of a strong quality approach to greatly reduce defects from Circuit Card Assembly providers- Upgraded Daylight\'s Semi-Conductor Center of Excellence quality system to a fully compliance AS9100 sytem.
