He had been part of the Southern California Edison, Automation/Communications group within the Advanced Technology department since 2011. He is project manager for next generation of SCE’s Substation Automation System (SA-3). He was project manager and technical lead of next generation of SCE\'s Human Machine Interface (HMI-3) project as well. He has over than 11 years engineering, researching, designing, sales, and project management, national and international experience in Substation Automation, SCADA, Energy Management System, and Distribution Management System projects.

   Southern California Edison, Advanced Technology Substation Automation 3 (SA-3) Project Manager SCE’s third generation of substation automation is referred to as Substation Automation 3 (SA-3). • Manage all SA-3–related projects including SA-3 hybrid HMI development, SA-3 phase and B-station standards projects • Provide monthly project budget analyses, schedule update reports, and conduct resource planning for various projects and budgets • Part of the Grid Modernization substation automation core team to identify the scope of project.• Hold SA-3 phase stack-holder meetings to update all Substation Automation stack-holders with the SA-3 phase requirement development and absorb and include their input for the SA-3 phase project• Lead the SA-3 B-station standards effort (one of the E & TS goals) and work with cross-functional departments including Substation Protection, Substation Automation, Standards, Engineering, and operation groups to be completed in Q4.• Manage SA-3 project planning and spending project plans; secure the project budget using different budget sources (Capital, O&M, ISGD)• Close out technically and commercially all the SA-3 MacArthur pilot sub-projects including SA-3 Powersystem Center, SA-3 Gateway, SA-3 SEMT enhancement, and SA-3 HMI with collaborative effort of vendors and the SA-3 technical team• Ensured the project objectives and goals were accomplished in accordance with project budget and timeline.• Create a culture that focuses on project schedule and deadlines HMI-3 Project Manager and Technical LeadProject manager of the SA-3 Human Machine Interface (HMI-3), one of the Substation Automation 3 (SA-3) sub-project pilots.
