With over 12 years of experience in the energy industry, I\'ve had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects and roles that have shaped my journey as a professional.My career started as an Electrical Engineer at a small distribution company, where I specialized in grid connections and gained hands-on experience. This role not only enhanced my technical skills but also emphasized the significance of communication and collaboration with stakeholders. This laid the foundation for my subsequent roles, each building upon the last to deepen my expertise and leadership capabilities.During my tenure at ABB, I transitioned into the role of Electrical Project Engineer, where I conducted critical power system studies and eventually assumed the position of Team Coordinator. Leading a team of engineers, I focused not only on delivering high-quality results but also on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.My journey then led me to the world of renewable energy at MPE Power System Consultants, where I embraced the challenge of working with wind farms. As a Senior Power System Consultant Engineer, I contributed to the design and implementation of wind farm projects, eventually rising to the role of Managing Power System Consultant Engineer. Leading a team of talented professionals, I emphasized technical excellence and project management leadership, driving successful outcomes and exceeding expectations.Currently, as the Design and Compliance Manager at Ørsted for the Revolution wind farm in Rhode Island, I oversee the design and compliance aspects of this groundbreaking project. Leading a team of design engineers, I leverage my technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the project\'s success while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Throughout my career, I\'ve been recognized for my focus on execution, ability to listen to others, and commitment to creating a positive and empowering work environment. I firmly believe in the power of relationships and continuous development, and I am dedicated to growing within the renewable energy industry.As I set my sights on becoming a Project Manager, I am driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a passion for making a meaningful impact in the renewable energy sector.
