ABOUT MIKE TAYLOR

I’m a product leader who helps health-tech companies turn strategy into product direction, and then into execution that scales and improves the business.Over the last 15 years across consulting, SaaS, and startups, I’ve operated at the intersection of executive strategy, product delivery, and business operations. I’ve led platform roadmaps, rebuilt products, and designed data/AI-enabled operating systems that make knowledge work faster and more reliable. I’m just as comfortable working with a CEO/CFO on monetization and positioning decisions as I am partnering with engineering on prioritization, quality, and delivery cadence.A few themes that define my work:Strategy → Roadmap: translating market and revenue goals into a clear product plan, sequencing tradeoffs, and decision-making frameworks.Complexity → Systems: building scalable platforms, data pipelines, and automation workflows that reduce manual effort and increase quality.Alignment → Execution: creating shared reality across product, engineering, customer success, and leadership and driving follow-through.I’ve contributed to two acquisitions (Connance → Waystar; Panda → AVIA) and have a track record of measurable outcomes: expanding product capabilities, accelerating customer delivery, and building platforms that support recurring revenue and retention. My leadership style is calm, direct, and execution-oriented. I’m happiest in roles where I can own the problem definition, align stakeholders on what matters, and build the operating cadence that turns plans into results.Core strengths- Product strategy, customer discovery, and roadmap ownership- Executive partnership on monetization, packaging, and GTM alignment- Cross-functional delivery with engineering (requirements, prioritization, QA/release readiness)- Business operations: capacity planning, process design, KPI governance, and reliability- Healthcare domain depth: software evaluation and procurement, revenue cycle, clinical workflows, and digital transformation
