Strategic risk leader with 11 years of corporate risk and insurance experience shaping risk management strategies for complex and challenging risks. As Corporate Risk Manager at Polaris, I lead the renewal of our global insurance programs across all lines of coverage, provide oversight for liability claims, and serve as the enterprise insurance authority. I regularly present risk financing strategies and renewal outcomes to senior leadership, translating complex market dynamics into clear financial and strategic impacts.Operating within a lean, high-impact team, I evaluate sophisticated risk financing solutions including self-insurance programs, captive solutions, and alternative risk transfer to align with corporate risk tolerance while strategically managing total cost of risk (TCOR). I leverage actuarial loss modeling and risk-bearing capacity analysis to inform optimal program structure, including limits, retentions, and layering decisions. I partner closely with Engineering teams to drive property risk improvement initiatives that strengthen our underwriting profile and reduce long-term loss exposure. I am particularly proud of leading a project to develop new embedded insurance solutions that have significantly reduced claims frequency while enhancing the overall customer experience. I’ve been a key partner supporting strategic divestitures, cross-functional ESG and Safety initiatives, complex contract negotiations, and product development. My experience includes managing challenging product liability renewals in highly constrained markets and cultivating strong relationships across U.S, London, and Bermuda insurance markets.
