I re-founded Entrepreneurial Spark and went back into startup mode in 2018 after ending our successful partnership with Natwest. Since then we have set up another 8 accelerators across the UK and internationally, delivered over 30 cohorts and supported more than 1,500 entrepreneurs. I have raised investment, made a whole bunch of leadership and strategic mistakes that I have learned from, led the business through COVID and rebuilt our team with 12 fantastic people.

ABOUT MIKE STEPHENS
I\'m a founder and business leader with nearly 20 years experience championing growing businesses. I\'m a combination of spreadsheet geek and leadership strategist, combining a love of the hard numbers from my commercial finance background with 10 years of enabling human potential with Entrepreneurial Spark.I\'m a big \"starter\", with a deeply held belief in the power of creativity and curiosity to change the world, so I love working with entrepreneurs. I enjoy seeing the limitless possibilities in people and businesses and am always working on something new. My love of fantasy and eternal optimism drive an infectious imagination and a constant desire to do better. I care about people, not things, and fundamentally believe that everybody deserves to feel like they belong somewhere.My daughter describes me as “funny”, and if you can rely on one thing it\'s that I will be genuine and try to help. I\'ve learned many lessons, some the easy way and most the hard way - and I\'m always happy to share.
