ECOSOL (Ecological Solutions) is land-use based ecological consultancy (SME) that can draw on expertise across a range of disciplines for investigating social-ecological systems at a range of landscape scales. At the heart of the approach are collaborative learning and transdisciplinary research and understanding. To achieve this work will need to be undertaken at the strategic, tactical and operational scales of the socio-ecological system so the knowledge produced can support policy, planning, delivery of an aligned programme of concerted activities and results in the ecological and physical landscape as well as the social system. ECOSOL focuses on forest and wider landscape restoration as well as urban ecology and agriculture seeking nature based solutions and understanding of the ecosystem services these different landscapes provide. A key part of this is stakeholder facilitation and analysis through social sciences and inclusive partnership working. ECOSOL can provide a range of services for the delivery of this holistic landscape approach as well as project management, support for funding applications and ecological survey.\\ ECOSOL is based in Edinburgh UK but also works out of Aborga Sweden.
