ABOUT MIKE SINGER
Hi! Mike Singer here, and I work for the Denver Nuggets.I\'m also the author of the book,\"Why So Serious? The untold story of NBA champion Nikola Jokic\" published by HarperCollins. The book has been sold and will be translated in eight languages, including Serbian, Italian, Japanese and Chinese. Before taking on this project, I covered the Denver Nuggets and the NBA as a whole for The Denver Post for five seasons, including throughout their championship run during the 2022-\'23 season. Throughout my time at The Post, I consistently broke news, advanced stories, wrote in-depth features and was the primary reporter covering the team, both at home and on the road. I\'ve been featured on numerous local and national shows, including both TV and podcasts.Prior to The Denver Post, I worked for USA TODAY Sports as a digital programmer, then became a producer and was eventually named national NBA editor, coordinating and overseeing USA TODAY\'s NBA presence both online and in print. Over four years, my responsibilities included editing stories, handling breaking news situations and writing/ reporting news. Previously was the Chicago Bulls beat writer for CSNChicago.com, covering one of the most high-profile teams through day-to-day game and practice reporting, features and in-depth statistical items. Also worked at CBSSports.com for four years and was one of the site\'s two lead writers for its World Cup coverage in 2014, the most comprehensive soccer coverage in the website\'s history. Have covered NFL, college basketball, college football and the Olympics. Have done freelance work for ESPN.com and have been featured on the website\'s homepage for New York Knicks coverage. Worked as Marquette beat reporter for 2011-12 Sweet 16 team and covered five teams at the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden in 2012. Also traveled to Kentucky and Arizona to cover Louisville\'s Final Four run in 2012. Spent fall of 2012 covering Big Ten football and basketball, along with the Atlanta Falcons.
