As a former Air Force member, I really appreciated our mission to make all of our reserve military members medically ready for duty across all of the various service components.Product Owner for an RHRP (Reserve Health Readiness Program) team of 4 engineers, 2 QA\'s. Involved in big room planning with 4-6 other teams to identify dependencies and story order to best deliver our solution on-time.Implemented agile processes/ceremonies/planning into a team that was just starting the agile dev process. Collaborate with users, engineering, and leadership to define and prioritize development.Document epics, features and user stories for new features/defects/tech debt.Translate business requirements into well defined user stories.Own, maintain and prioritiz backlog for Value Increment and Sprint planning. Backlog consists of Front End, Back End, API\'s and reporting functionality.Develop and document requirements, Release Notes, User Acceptance Testing Demo, and UI Mockups as needed.Collaborate daily with Engineering and QA to ensure on-time quality releases.Communicate/Demo new releases with Marketing, Sales, Operations, support and clients.

With over 20 years of software product experience, I am a seasoned and certified (PSPO I and II) product owner who can deliver innovative and client-focused web solutions. I have successfully led the development and launch of several web applications and tools for Cerner Corporation, a leading healthcare technology company. The solutions I owned had over clients and 500k end users.One of my proudest achievements was leading the initiative to streamline the digital certificate issuance process for 1800 clients, reducing client effort, downtime, and service requests to nearly zero. This involved coordinating with third-party certificate providers, internal software developers, and operations and support teams. I am also skilled in backlog management, defining requirements, performing hazard analysis, and validating UI and functionality of pre-release code.I am looking for a new opportunity to leverage my product ownership experience to create impactful and user-friendly web solutions for a great team.
