About Mike Schmidt
Michael is an operationally focused finance executive with 20+ years in both finance and operations. Michael has served as the CFO of publicly traded, private equity sponsored and ventured backed companies within the tech enabled business services, SAAS/software, and technology sectors.Michael has a valuable and broad based M&A background on both the buy and sell side where he has led the due diligence, valuation, deal structure, and integration of transactions totaling $1.8 billion in value.During his CFO career Michael has raised over $2 billion in debt and equity. Michael has an extensive background in investor communications with both public and private holders, as well as in-depth compliance reporting including SEC documents,(i.e, S-1\'s, 10-K\'s, etc.), covenant reporting, and Confidential Information Memorandums.Michael\'s has extensive hands-on international experience gained in Europe, Asia, and Australia where he was an expatriate for a Fortune 500 for over ten years. When combined with his operations background which includes COO for Fortune 500 subsidiaries, Michael brings a unique operations perspective to the CFO role which allows him to work hand in hand with operational executives driving improvements and efficiencies throughout the organization.Michael began his career as a CPA at Ernst & Young.
