ABOUT MIKE SCHANTZ

My focus is building and streamlining processes to reduce costs and increase efficiencies. I was instrumental in implementing systems and processes for a US centric $200 million AUM single strategy Hedge Fund as it grew to a $3 billion AUM global multi strategy fund with positions in multiple currencies and financial instruments. During the firm’s growth, I was responsible for reorganizing our clearing operations, building out our Asia and European trading infrastructure, implementing new financial instruments into our trade life cycle and managing each project from start to finish. As we entered new markets I worked with external vendors, exchanges, banks, prime brokerages, administrators, compliance, accounting and software developers to establish our new business lines. With my previous experience in portfolio management, trading and operations it has helped me understand and navigate systems to best handle future requirements.
