ABOUT MIKE SCHANHALS
With over 30 years of experience in teaching writing and coaching lacrosse, I am fired up about helping students and athletes achieve their full potential. I am currently the head coach of the Hope College Men\'s Lacrosse team, where I serve an outstanding group of student-athletes as we compete in the NCAA Division I am also an education specialist at Eli Review, an innovative edtech company that provides online tools for peer feedback and revision. There, I collaborate with educators and researchers to design software focused on deep revision through peer review. I have a master\'s degree in curriculum and instruction from Michigan State University, and am a National Writing Project Fellow. I have multiple certifications in language arts and English, and strong skills in writing, educational technology, and feedback management as well as leadership.
