I work closely with agency Art Directors, Account Managers, Account Planners, and clients to invigorate brands and turn advertising strategies into powerful, memorable creative messages that build strong, lasting emotional connections with consumers.I\'ve worked in South Carolina, West Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina in positions ranging from lowly intern working in an agency basement to Art Director to Senior Copywriter to SVP Creative Director to executive leader, guiding art directors, designers, and copywriters for national and international clients. My client history includes NAPA Auto Parts, Cooper Tires, Conde’ Nast Publications, McDonalds, Kroger, Elmer\'s Glue, X-Acto, Scott’s Lawn Care Products, Sprint Communications, Hardee’s Food Systems, Visit Florida, Nevada Tourism, Panama City Beach Tourism, The Ohio State University, Huntington Bank, Donatos Pizza, and like a hundred more.In addition to getting serious results, my work has won tons of advertising awards and lots of industry recognition including: The New York Festivals, Clio Shortlist, National ADDYs, Regional ADDYs, Local Best of Show ADDYs, Judge’s Choice ADDYs, District and Local ADDYs in North Carolina, West Virginia, and Ohio as well as press in Communication Arts, Adweek, Brandweek, Advertising Age, and AdCritic. I graduated from Concord College in Athens, WV in 1993. I\'m a car nut (I still have my FIRST car - a bright yellow 1979 MG Midget which I recently restored on my own and now I\'m driving the wheels off it), a big fan of West Virginia University football and an even bigger fan of my wife Karen and my son Owen. I like being outside - kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, camping, fishing.anything that involves fresh air.
