I’m the creator, host and executive producer of *Eastern Promise*, the podcast that explores the full potential of the East of England, showcases best practice across the region and talks to leaders, opinion formers, experts and all-round gurus. Finally, I am Director and Lead Consultant at Priors Croft Services, a politics, media and public affairs consultancy. My expertise is in liaison with elected representatives, and local and national government, especially the UK Parliament.Before launching *Eastern Promise*, I spent 15 years as a Senior Parliamentary Researcher to Richard Bacon MP, where I created and ran the highly regarded ‘How Should Norfolk Grow?’ This was where I learned about the true promise of this region and how sustainable, transformative growth absolutely need not be at the expense of place making, beauty or the natural realm. That decade-and-a-half included working on some of the most momentous changes in local & regional politics, including the battle over Norwich unitary, the introduction of New Anglia LEP, the MP’s expenses scandal, the failed devolution, incinerators, self-build and helping to draft legislation.
