ABOUT MIKE RICHARDS

An experienced and successful Change Manager with over 20 years’ professional experience in the Financial Services Sector, post-completion of a BA Honours Business Studies degree. I have significant knowledge of the insurance market, having held various roles within change, commercial and marketing / document teams. I’ve successfully led project teams in the delivery of a wide variety of business changes across home, motor, rescue and travel insurance, and I’m motivated by bringing project teams together, setting a clear plan and milestones, allocating resources effectively and ensuring full and clear governance is maintained to achieve the project goal.I’m tenacious and I possess excellent planning, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of business change delivery and building close internal and external relationships at all levels, with the ability to influence teams to deliver on demanding project targets. I have excellent communication skills, client / supplier relationship experience and a good understanding of high-profile client accounts, key metrics of account management, and third-party controls. I’m PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualified and currently work within an Agile change environment.
