Together, with three dedicated program biologists as well as by working closely with stakeholders from both government and non-governmental organizations, I coordinate the statewide delivery of the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program in Illinois. Our work includes habitat restoration or enhancements on private lands and with willing land owners. We accomplish this by providing technical assistance or consulting with landowners to determine their goals, project planning, and (within priorty/focus areas) cost-share funding or oversight for habitat improvements on private lands in the Prairie State. Our work can span most habitat types (from wetlands, to prairies to woodlands or streams) that benefit wildlife and provide enjoyment for our partner landowners.
