Managing Partner of Railtons, including the Footsoft and Suave brands and the eighth generation of a family business established for more than 270 years I carry forward the challenge with vigour, to drive the business forward to further success, and my commitment is to the interests of suppliers, employees and customers to give the business great strength in service and create a culture of excellence.My involvement in Centa adds a dimension to my career that has enlightened me to the important role of the medical and healthcare market in our society. The concept of approaching challenges from an unconventional angle, and combining a commercial approach to driving down costs, while upholding vital safety standards has without doubt taught me to value good health and made me aware of the fragile nature of life on this earth.My appointment as Director of Pinnacle Group EU Ltd, gives me an increased breadth of experience and knowledge, as I engage with our young and enthusiastic team, that boasts great progress, have ambitious plans, and have high values.Through my many and varied business interests, both in the UK and overseas, I have built up a valuable and cherished portfolio of contacts in numerous trades, at every level globally. This has been paramount in shaping my attitude, determination and ability to succeed, even in the most challenging of circumstances and has given me an important insight into the need to continually listen, learn and evolve, to ensure perpetual progress in this ever changing and increasingly demanding world in which we are privileged to live.By understanding the challenges facing smaller businesses through running a family business, to appreciating Blue Chip principles from operating in the global market place, and even through having a young and demanding family of my own, this enables me to relate to business colleagues at every level in the commercial world, and have a breadth of vision that I treasure, and hope to never lose.
