   Mike is an Executive Vice President in the Northern Colorado Market and has been with FirstBank since 2002. In his role as an Executive Vice President, Mike has extensive experience in many areas of lending including real estate mortgages (both consumer and commercial), construction financing, land development, commercial (office, multi-family, retail), affordable housing, C&I as well as all consumer lending functions. He has originated over $500M in his career. Mike also performs many non-lending responsibilties. He manages the operations, personnel and financial performance of the Northern Colorado market. In addition, Mike manages the market’s Loan Coordinator team consisting of 10 staff that coordinated over $450 million in loan originations on an annual basis. He is part of the Northern Colorado area management team which oversees 7 branches with over 100 employees,$1.2 billion in assets and $1.45 billion in deposits. Mike has served as the market Community Reinvestment Officer, Security Officer and Operations Officer and also developed and managed the credit analyst team for the entire region. Mike serves on numerous FirstBank Holding Company committees including the Mortgage Officer Committee, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Steering Committee, and the Interest Rate SWAP Committee. He is an instructor for the company’s Construction Lending class for up and coming management trainees. Since 1963, FirstBank has grown into a $28 billion organization with over 100 locations in Colorado and Arizona with nearly employees.
