About Mike Quigley

I am one of the leaders of Houlihan Lokey’s Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory practice, with more than 15 years of experience in financial reporting and assurance. I am dedicated to providing the firm’s strategic and financial sponsor clients with accounting and financial reporting advisory services in conjunction with private and public market M&A, strategic alliances, divestitures, and financial restructurings as well as accessing the global capital markets through private and public debt and equity raises. As part of Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, I advise clients through the accounting and financial reporting complexities of deals, including U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other international GAAP matters as well as SEC reporting matters; provide practical advice in the drafting of purchase and sale agreements, offering memoranda, credit agreements, registration statements, and other financial reporting matters; and assist clients in executing domestic and international transactions. I provide specific advice on registration statements and offering memoranda, carve-out financial statements, purchase accounting, pro forma financial statements, GAAP conversions, and other technical accounting topics, such as revenue recognition, segment reporting, and consolidations. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, I served as the Senior Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at Alliance Data (now Bread Financial (NYSE: BFH)). I started my career at Deloitte in audit. I hold a B.S. in Accounting and an M.A. in Accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating within the Business Honors Program. I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
