My career started in 1980 as an apprentice to my father Robert Quatman Inc. through 1989 learning the landscaping trade and understanding the basics of how to successfully run a business at a very young age. One of the most important things, he taught me was how to speak to people so that they listen, and how listening is crucial to communication. Throughout my career, I have worked with all different personality types and often reflect upon his words….”Follow the Golden Rule-Treat others as you would like to be treated”.After completing my degree in Business Administration, I was given the opportunity to join Robert A. Bothman where I focused on field operations as a Foreman and then a Superintendent until 1998 when I relocated to Oregon. In 2016 my family relocated back to the Bay Area, and I was asked to rejoin the RAB Team. I eagerly welcomed the opportunity to work with these “Quality People” once again. As Operations Manager, I focused on restructuring our Safety Department, updating training means and methods, establishing “Code of Conduct” and “Culture of Safety” programs which successfully reduced incidents and insurance claims. In my current role as Director of Operations, I will continue to focus on safety, employee retention, updating corporate policies and achieving business goals.
