ABOUT MIKE PURRINGTON
I am an audit partner at EY and have more than 25 years’ experience in Financial Services, focused primarily on the non-life insurance market, with particular specialism in Lloyd’s and the global specialty market. My career at EY began in 1998 and I spent two years working for EY’s Financial Services practice in New York from 2002 to 2004. I became an audit partner in 2010 having previously signed audit opinions as an Audit Director from 2008.In my role, I provide audit and assurance services and transaction services to Lloyd’s syndicates, non-life insurance groups, global brokers, PLCs and US listed groups and have extensive IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP and listed company reporting experience. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and have a degree in Law from Oxford University.
