   As a Regional Sales Manager at Kadant Johnson, I’m responsible for Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Utah and Idaho. My three years of experience with condensate and steam systems enable me to guide and support manufacturing employees from project engineers, process engineers and maintenance managers to training coordinators and purchasing personnel. I work closely with individuals in the corrugated packaging, metal, plastic, chemical, textile, and food and beverage industries.Our dependable parts, steam systems, and mechanical services improve manufacturing processes around the world. We understand the damage that can result when a component fails and manufacturing comes to a halt, so we strive to deliver the best-quality product in the shortest amount of time. Another significant hurdle we help our customers to address is low efficiency. Runnability challenges were impeding one U.S. based corrugated packaging plant from meeting customers’ orders of heavyweight board combinations. Kadant Johnson installed new LJX™ rotary joints with rigid syphons to ensure continuous condensate evacuation. They also wanted to increase steam quantity and distribution across the medium, so we also installed a ThermoMax® Steam Moisturizer™ system.Completed over a weekend shut-down, the modifications boosted runnability and productivity immediately. The speed for heavyweight board combinations increased 100 feet per minute and helped the plant recover the cost of the project in less than a month.
