Junior Buyer within Non-Food at Co-op Geography Graduate from Nottingham Trent University - 1st class honours A driven and naturally inquisitive individual with a hunger for knowledge 🧠I have gathered comprehensive retail experience from the ground up via a management role at Co-op stores. Being on the \'front line\' has been fundamental to my progression within the Co-op, arming me with practical insight to make operational decisions which put our colleagues and customers first. I then secured a Data Management position at Co-op Head Office before moving to the Commercial team. After two and a half years supporting the Food-to-Go Buying team and then progressing the Concessions offer as a Buying Assistant, I was promoted to Junior Buyer.In this role I managed a number of categories including Batteries, Cookware, Toys and Stationery within the Non-Food team. During this team I led on an aggressive project within the wider department to reset the space allocated to Non-Food categories in store, progressing or declining as appropriate by category to reflect a new era of convenience retail.Following promotion to Buyer, the next step is a spot within the Protein team managing Fish.
