ABOUT MIKE POMEROY

I create value for companies facing special situations and challenging circumstances. I’ve been helping companies enhance their business performance and boost returns for more than three decades, beginning as a senior finance leader at such major global corporations as GE and Kodak.Now I work with prominent private equity firms who need the steady hand of a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to build professional finance teams at their portfolio companies and unlock value. PE firms rely on me to deliver organizational and financial improvements, quickly and efficiently, across a range of B2C and B2B industries, including Healthcare, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing, Retail, and Retail Services.My story begins at GE, where I was selected to serve on their prestigious Corporate Audit Staff before being promoted to financial and operational leadership positions in GE divisions ranging from Energy, Energy Aftermarket, and Electrical Distribution to Transportation Systems and Aviation Engine Maintenance.At Kodak, I held multiple divisional CFO roles as the company navigated technological disruption, focused primarily on turning around challenged businesses and restoring balance sheet health and revenue growth.My PE experience began when Kodak named me CFO of its Carestream health imaging division, leading to a carve-out and eventual sale of the business to PE. Since then, I have been selected by such prominent firms as Blackstone, Carlyle, Hertz, and Icahn to lead a broad range of assignments for their portfolio companies, including strategy development, M&A, business integration, organizational design, process redesign, ERP implementation and integration, re-financing/restructuring, and public company readiness.
