I have a passion for transforming businesses with technology and data. Aligning business strategy and plans to the rapidly changing world of technology is something I have led for many years. But, along with this opportunity to transform, comes great responsibility. Every company has choices to make, and these choices need to be made shrewdly. To optimize business and technology choices, I focus on staying sharp with technology trends, integrating business and technology teams, developing cross functional relationships, and modeling a customer first mindset. I have been fortunate to lead, and learn from, multiple large transformations across people, process and technology opportunities. Balancing these three components is critical. Here are examples from my experiences: • Partnering with P&L leads to build an industry first marketplace ecosystem for jewelry retailers • Transforming retail and insurance data and analytics capabilities with technology and team transformation. Leveraging business driven insights, through modern data technology, is something every business can and should be doing • Designing and building a global and regional technology capability, with other global leaders at SABMiller, to onboard new business acquisitions • Implementing agile and devops capabilities to make execution more predictable and faster • Designing applications and data environments with a security and privacy first mindset • Developing and promoting leaders to ensure succession plans • Smartly leveraging infrastructure, application and cloud partners to allow our internal resources to focus on direct business impact I am a learning driven leader and I value my diverse experiences across different industries; and most importantly the great companies that I have been privileged to join.
