ABOUT MIKE OROURKE
As Privacy Officer of the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC), I am responsible for ensuring the agency protects all personally identifiable information (PII) it collects and uses. As a cyber security professional for more than 15 years, I have helped U.S. government agencies mitigate security risks to their IT systems. I am a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Government (CIPP/G), CIPP/US, and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP). As a Toastmaster for nearly 10 years, I enjoy mentoring members to improve their speaking and leadership skills and helping clubs thrive. I have served in Toastmasters leadership roles, including as a Division Director in which I oversaw more than 30 Toastmasters clubs and 600 members, and have achieved the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award, the highest distinction a Toastmaster can attain.
