I am a bioanalytical chemist. My background in research at the undergraduate level covers topics within Origins of Life. Projects that I have contributed to have been funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and NASA. My experience at the graduate level involves characterization of conformational isomers via ion mobility (IM) and collision-induced unfolding (CIU). The research is funded by National Institutes of Health (NIH). In addition, I have received fellowships through the American Chemical Society (ACS) and NIH to conduct research. My experience in industry involves wet chemistry. Fluid analysis completed for samples from customers with construction, marine, and various vehicles. In addition, I conducted Microbiology lab work in the Virology department within the Hartford Healthcare lab site. Currently, I am a scientist for Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
