ABOUT MIKE MILLAY
Senior Executive with 40 years of experience in the sports tourism and youth sports space. I am now taking those experiences and learnings to focus on problem solving issues in amateur sports. I am a Partner in a variety of sports businesses: EngageMint, LLC (Fan Engagement), 3D Institute, LLC (Coaching Education), and Clancy\'s Sports Properties (Strategic Planning & Operational Execution). I also enjoy lending insights to a variety of non-profits as a Board Member, including educational institutions that impact future sports leaders.I was instinctively drawn to the sports industry after watching my father coach his six children and manage a large youth baseball league as a child. I was fortunate to compete in various sports growing up, finally focusing on wrestling where I was able to compete and coach at the DI level at LSU. I always felt a calling to leadership roles, which challenged me to improve educationally at Ohio University for my Masters degree from the #1 Sports Administration program in the world. I was blessed to launch one of the earliest sports commissions in the country (New Orleans), helped form the National Association of Sports Commissions while also helping lead the Walt Disney Company into the youth sports and sports tourism sector as the longest-tenured executive at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
