Senior network engineering role that is primarily responsible for the continued development of the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) infrastructure within the United States, along with being a member of the global UCC team. • Initial duties included aggressive Nexus and Catalyst LAN campus build-out during the Fab 8 ramp up to first-silicon. Also primarily responsible for Cisco Data Center Application Services’ (ACE and ANM) continued build-out and maintenance. • Lead engineer and Project Manager for the global Immersive Telepresence deployment initially consisting of five Polycom end-points/rooms. The Immersive Telepresence network has since grown to nine end-points. Lead Project Manager responsibilities include coordination of Polycom\'s room design and implementation services, trade/construction services, regional Facilities and Telecommunications departments, and related financials. Lead Engineer duties include Polycom video infrastructure build-out, along with design and implementation of existing LAN, WAN and QoS structures. • Lead Engineer (Work Stream Lead) for network/voice/video services integration to meet Day-1 requirements during the acquisition of IBM’s Micro Electronics Division (MED). The IBM MED acquisition consisted of two semi-conductor fabs located in the Northeast U.S. along with approximately 600 additional employees located across IBM offices globally. Work stream lead responsibilities included business analysis and defining day-1 requirements; architecting, designing and implementing a solution; project management of deliverables including status updates and presentations; costs proposals, justification, requests and management of those costs, and lastly day-1 and day-2 support.
