About Mike McIntosh
As Assistant Chief of Prevention, I work hand in hand with other members of the City of Great Falls, architects, engineers, business owners and contractors to grow the city. I also over see the Great Falls Fire Rescues (GFFR) Fire Prevention Bureau (FPB). The FPB strives to ensure that commercial buildings and residential apartment buildings are safe for all those who use and live in them. Our overall goal is to ensure that Great Falls is a safe community for all to enjoy.As Assistant Chief of Prevention, I also oversee GFFR’s Fire Investigation’s. GFFR is charged with investigating all fire within Great Falls to determine the origin and cause of these fire. In doing so I work hand in hand with the Great Falls Police Department, Cascade County Sheriff’s Office, City Attorney’s Office and the Cascade County Attorney’s Office. I also work directly with private fire investigators.
