Spearhead all aspects of vessel performance, operation, and safety-Responsible for ensuring timely completion of all vessel maintenance and correction of any deficiencies-Provide hands-on training and development of crew to increase individual skill set, crew performance and cohesiveness-Identify and communicate overall operational risks and risk mitigation recommendations with senior management -Perform root-cause analysis, create and implement corrective actions, and close out any findings-Serve as onboard liaison between Hornbeck Offshore and client representatives
