In 1954, Tom Hannum Jr.’s passion for motorcycles led him to convince his father to sell their automotive business and purchase a Harley-Davidson® franchise—launching what would become the Hannum’s Harley-Davidson® legacy. For over 70 years, this family-owned business has delivered the “Thrill of the Ride” to customers across Pennsylvania and beyond. Originally opened in Crum Lynne, PA, the dealership relocated to Media in 1959 and steadily expanded, adding locations in Chadds Ford, Sellersville, Rahway (NJ), Scranton, and Willow Street. Now, the next chapter begins with Hannum’s West Chester Harley-Davidson®, officially opened on January 13, 2026. This new sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility the former Media and Chadds Ford locations into one destination, blending tradition, innovation, and community. Family remains at the core of the business. Tom Jr.’s passion for riding was passed on to his wife Rita and children, Tonda and Tom who continue to lead the company today. Together with their team, they’ve built one of the largest Harley-Davidson® dealership groups in the nation. With a wide selection of new and pre-owned motorcycles, plus expert sales, service, parts, and MotorClothes® departments, Hannum’s is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
