I spent approximately two years at the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, first as a student intern and then as a judicial law clerk, before serving as in-house counsel for a financial services corporation and then working as an associate attorney for a litigation and bankruptcy boutique for approximately 9 years. In January, 2020, I began working at Day Pitney LLP where I continued to maintain a diverse litigation, bankruptcy, and employment practice. In April, 2025, I joined Womble Bond Dickinson, growing my practice defending financial institutions and other corporate clients in state and federal courts, including in defense of class action litigation.    I am a trial attorney with a broad background in commercial litigation and bankruptcy. I have particularly deep experience defending members of the consumer financial services industry, including creditors, national banks, debt buyers, finance companies, alternative lenders, mortgage companies, and their servicers in cases arising under a wide range of consumer protection statutes.I also have extensive experience representing secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and related litigation, including adversary proceedings relating to commercial and consumer loans and mortgage servicing, and preference and fraudulent transfer actions. I frequently assists clients with claim objections, contract assumption or rejection issues, use of cash collateral, and sale of estate assets within the bankruptcy forum. Outside of the consumer finance and bankruptcy sectors, I continue to assist corporate clients across industries, including in defense class action litigation.
