ABOUT MIKE LANDESS
Mike Landess is News Director of the University of Texas at Tyler\'s KVUT, UT Tyler Radio. He\'s a seasoned broadcast anchor, reporter, producer, writer and editor. He’s been honored with nearly 2 dozen National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmys. 5 were for ‘Best Anchor’ in Washington DC, Atlanta and Denver. He’s also received 6 Edward R. Murrow Awards and is in the Denver Press Club Hall of Fame and the Broadcast Pioneers of Colorado Hall of fame. He’s now a frequent guest lecturer on broadcast journalism at the University of Texas at Tyler. Mike also serves as an on-air talent coach for Tegna at it\'s CBS19 operation in Tyler. He\'s a work crew volunteer and board member with Habitat for Humanity, Smith County.
