About Mike Korman

As a Senior VP Construction, corporate executive, small business entrepreneur and retired senior military leader I created transformational programs leveraging technology and data to drive results, introduced drone technology to enhance construction and led men and women during four combat tours through thoughtful and passionate leadership. As the National Construction Executive for Target, I was recruited to transform the construction department culture, where I was quickly promoted to lead 75% of the US Target store construction. Notable projects include maintaining the integrity of the historic Sullivan Center, Chicago State Street, and Seattle Pike Plaza, previously a movie theater and bank and converted it into a unique three story Target store. Known as a strategically tactical innovator, I am recognized for my abilities to understand the situation, create and implement the best solutions. I am inspired by creating a better future leveraging technology and people. I am the founder of Right Stuff Drones where I leverage drone technology and sensors to drive efficiency, safety and data to make better decisions in construction.Proud to have served in the United States Navy as a retired Master Chief Petty Officer, my colleagues describe me as a trusted innate leader, visionary and strategic thinker, inspired to mentor and coach people to thrive. Honored to be awarded with the Bronze Star Medal for service in Iraq, the Claude Ricketts Awards for Inspirational Leadership for the Navy League, 40 Under 40 Award, and the Partner of the Year Award from Target. Inspired by meeting Secretary of the Navy John Lehman while in high school, at 18 joined the Navy, as the Vice President Student Body of University of MO, deployed to Desert Storm, where my unit built a field hospital in seven days.
