As the EHS Manager for our Distribution Division, I lead the Environmental, Health & Safety function across nine distribution centers nationwide, supporting Pacific Seafood’s mission of “feeding the world the healthiest protein on the planet” while ensuring the safety and well-being of every team member.Key Responsibilities & Achievements:• Strategic Leadership: Oversee EHS compliance, training, and safety culture development for facilities in 8 states. Partner with GMs, EHS leaders, HR, and senior leadership to drive continuous improvement and align with OSHA, EPA, and state-plan requirements.• Audit & Compliance Management: Conduct internal audits and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and company standards. Designed and implemented audit templates, emergency action plan (EAP) enhancements, and RCA (root cause analysis) tools such as fishbone diagrams and 5-Whys frameworks.• Injury Reduction & Data-Driven Outcomes: Applied data analytics to track and reduce injury trends, leading to 50% reduction in recordable incidents year-over-year division wide.• Training & Communication: Developed and deployed EHS training programs covering topics such as forklift/powered industrial truck safety, blood-borne pathogens, and hazard identification. Regularly facilitate weekly and bi-weekly meetings with site EHS leads to align strategy and share best practices.• Capital Expenditure & Risk Mitigation: Authored business cases and CapEx proposals for critical safety investments, supported by ROI analysis, industry benchmarks, and incident data.Impact: Through proactive leadership, collaboration, and a focus on data-driven decision-making, I have strengthened Pacific Seafood’s safety culture, reduced workplace injuries, and positioned EHS as a strategic partner in operational excellence.
