Leading translational biomarker and companion diagnostic (CDx) efforts across Leap Therapeutics oncology pipeline. Working cross functionally with clinical development, operations and regulatory to design and execute on biomarker strategy- Led CDx efforts for DKN-01 and successfully advanced a novel tumoral RNAscope assay to a Phase 3 ready IVD for gastric/gastroesophageal junction cancer- Oversaw exploratory clinical biomarker generation (genetics, proteomics, RNA-Seq and IHC) across multiple oncology indications to inform on mechanism of action, prognostic and predicative markers and guide future combinations and indications- Through collaborations with external CROs and academic partners, discovered a novel plasma biomarker for DKN-01 treatment of colorectal cancer that is currently being developed as a CDx- Led efforts to develop nonclinical PK and PD assays for an anti-GDF-15 therapeutic antibody - Supported business development activities through presentations to potential partners, answering of diligence questions and conducting scientific diligence of Flame Therapeutics acquisition in January 2023- Oversaw direct reports at Director and Scientist levels
