In 2010 I started Climbing Out Of Homelessness to change everyone\'s thinking about homeless people. In our 7 years of successful alpine mountaineering, we have led 31 homeless climbers to the summit of MT Rainier, and more to the top of Mt Hood. TV coverage of our first climb won multiple Emmy awards and the National Edward R Murrow award in 2011. Our 2013 climb was the subject of a feature documentary film,\"A New High.\" The film won selection to multiple film festivals from LA to NYC, and can now be seen on Netflix.
