About Michael Howard
We shoulder a profound responsibility. Our enduring mission—to develop, promote, and lead the sustainable supply and equitable use of energy for the greatest benefit of all people—is the legacy we owe to future generations. For more than four decades, I have been devoted to advancing this mission.I currently serve on four technology company boards focused on creating innovative energy products and services. I also advise Lime Rock New Energy Ventures, a private capital fund investing in next-generation energy companies, and I sit on the Board of Carnegie Mellon University’s Scott Institute for Energy Innovation.During my tenure as CEO of EPRI, I had the privilege of leading an international Board of Directors and Advisory Board composed of distinguished global energy leaders, regulators, academics, and environmental advocates. My engagement with the World Energy Council further strengthens my commitment to addressing global energy challenges and leveraging its worldwide network to advance sustainable energy practices.I look forward to working with you in this shared mission of navigating the energy transition and fostering a healthier planet for generations to come.
