As an IT Director of Technology Operations, I direct all IT strategy and plans to guarantee alignment with organizational vision, while acting as dependable technology advisor. I hire, train, and lead high performing team of 12 direct reports with ~300 global FTE and oversaw service resources. Below listed are some of my achievements till date: Organized 60% reduction in outages by redesigning WAN with Palo Alto firewalls, SDWAN, and Meraki, resulting in millions of dollars in annual savings. Re-designed global infrastructure operations/vendor management processes to decrease 64% MTT for service impacts of severity one. Directed public cloud migration of all production applications, involving DataStax Data Warehouse, OpenShift Containerized Shared Service, PCI-CDE Environment, Hadoop Data Warehouse, and Citrix VDI environment. Drove tactical modernization and improvement of global data center migration strategy to AWS cloud. Promoted use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to increase productivity and technological capabilities, while saving $4M on datacenter costs. Served as catalyst to lead development of DevSecOps model for cloud initiative and reduced production vulnerabilities by 82% and five severity vulnerabilities by 91%. Created technology roadmaps to execute modernization, automation, and innovation to boost productivity and reduce costs.
