About Mike Harris

Mike Harris is a Vice President at Halstatt Real Estate Partners, where he is responsible for the acquisition, disposition, and asset management of investments, with a focus on underwriting, investment diligence, and portfolio performance. He plays a key role in the firm’s quarterly valuation process and leads fund- and asset-level financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Prior to joining Halstatt in 2020, Mike held roles across both residential and commercial real estate in Texas and Florida, spanning investment, brokerage, and property management. Originally from Houston, Texas, Mike earned a Master of Science in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Urban and Regional Planning and Real Estate, from the University of Florida, where he was also a member of the track and field team as a pole vaulter. Mike is actively involved in the industry and local community. He serves as Treasurer for the Urban Land Institute’s Southwest Florida District Council and is a member of its Young Leaders Group, where he previously served as Chair. He has also served as Treasurer for Habitat NextGen, a 501(c)6 non-profit he co-founded, and is a Class of 2021 alumnus of Associate Leadership Collier. In addition, Mike contributed to the seventeenth edition of Real Estate Finance and Investments Textbook by Brueggeman and Fisher and developed a real estate financial modeling course, Financial Analysis with Real Estate Modeling, which is currently utilized at multiple universities across the United States.
