About Mike Hadge

I possess ten years of broadcast, stage, and digital writing, production and development experience. Recently, I consulted at HBO Max in both their Original Features and PR departments, taking part in the platform\'s successful launch in May 2020. I spent three years as Digital Writer/Producer for Howard Stern’s web site, app, and social media. The role allowed me to flex both creative and digitally strategic muscles in equal measure, brainstorming and writing daily material that enhanced and supported The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM. I have also recently been a Script Supervisor and Writer for several web series on Mashable, as well as a writer for websites BarkPost, Buzzfeed, Purple Clover, and Wonderwall. For the past decade, I have grown accustomed to writing high volumes of material under tight deadlines, starting with writing jokes for David Letterman’s monologue and Top Ten List. Each night, I would create dozens of jokes on every possible subject in the news. Starting in 2009, I spent several years as an Associate Producer and Writer at Meetinghouse Productions, during which time I wrote for three seasons of TruTV Presents World’s Dumbest, focusing on narrative structure, punch-up, sketches, and jokes. I am currently a decade into my role as head songwriter for award-winning New York variety show, The Rescignos. Thus far, I have composed over 200 original songs for the show, including full vocal arrangements, music, and lyrics. Starting in 2015, I have been a songwriter for NEWSical: The Musical Off-Broadway, which requires me to compose topical comedy songs to be performed often within twenty-four hours. My music has also appeared on many podcasts, such as Bachelor Nick Viall\'s \"Viall Files.\" I possess a unique creative resourcefulness, a close attention to detail, a knack for working under pressure, and outstanding time-management skills.
