About Mike Grundmann

I am a collaborative leader with extensive experience in project management, marketing, learning design, business development, site selection, and incentive negotiations. Having reached a point in life where full-time work is no longer essential, I have decided to flip the script, pursuing things I’ve always dreamed of doing full-time, and professional work part-time. I am thrilled to be leaving my full-time career on a high note. In 2019, I was recruited to Virginia to launch the Virginia Talent Accelerator Program. Thanks to the incredible team I was able to assemble, we were recognized by both Business Facilities and Area Development as the nation’s #2 workforce incentive program within two years of operation. Within four years, we advanced to #1 in Business Facilities while maintaining our standing in Area Development. I am also thrilled to be handing off the Accelerator’s leadership role to one of our own, so the program will continue advancing on its current trajectory. My time living in Richmond and working in harmony with such talented and fun people will always be among my fondest memories. It’s time now to go out and make new memories, taking the same energy and inspiration I brought to building the Talent Accelerator to an entirely new set of challenges.

   Lead VEDP\'s Virginia Talent Accelerator Program, which is an experienced in-house team of talent acquisition, instructional design, and organizational development professionals who develop and deliver comprehensive, customized recruitment and training solutions. The program\'s services are offered as an incentive to encourage new job creation in Virginia. Our mission is to accelerate the start-up of eligible new facility and expansion projects by expediting recruiting and shortening the new-hire learning curve. All Talent Accelerator recruiting and training solutions are totally customized to each client\'s unique jobs, processes, procedures and culture.
