Mike Grantis is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Contango Digital Assets, a Canadian venture capital firm on a mission to accelerate the adoption of decentralized systems. Decentralization is a key factor in unlocking human freedom and enabling global peace. We accelerate this movement by incubating, building and investing in products and services that make web3 more globally accessible. These sectors include infrastructure, blockchain+AI, consumer applications and DeFi. Mike previously founder CryptoWeekly, a multi-channel media platform that was acquired by 1DotMedia. He also founded Bitcoin 101, an online course taken by over students across 57 countries teaching the basics of Bitcoin. He has been a featured speaker at several crypto events on topics such as Bitcoin, ETFs, GameFi, and DeFi. Mike graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration (Co-Op) from Wilfrid Laurier University, while also playing on mens varsity basketball.
