A proactive senior leader, with significant experience improving performance across operations, logistics and Health & Safety to deliver improvement and KPIs in fast-moving, unionised environments. Safety engagement - reduced accidents by 34%: Implemented robust safety plan; safety tours, updates on stats, accidents & root causes, meetings to engage safety reps and unions. Achieved zero non-conformances in ISO45001 safety audits. Presented to monthly Safety Committee.Increased engagement rating from 51% to 75% across 95% of workforce, through coaching, focus on team welfare, collaborative performance reviews. Led Business Engagement awards nominations; team members won top recognition prize 2018 & 2019. Implemented reviews to identify and nurture future shining stars. Reduced absence by 3%.Improved driver performance ratings; 140 drivers: Measured from (green) A to (red) G. Moved average driver performance from F to B. Reduced fuel usage, RTAs by 50%, per mile costs from £0.019 to £0.013 (2.3m miles pa), accident costs by £13.8k. Drivers welcomed real-time feedback.Cultural turnaround: Improved performance and engagement, turning distribution site (150 people) into the top award-winning site: won ‘Most Improved Site’ and ‘Best Operation’ in internal Logistics Awards.
