About Mike Gibson

Mike Gibson, Chief Design Officer at Creature, has spent 20 years transforming the AEC industry through an integrated approach that unites design, fabrication, and construction. With degrees in Architecture and City Planning from Auburn University and licenses spanning 33 states, Mike’s portfolio includes multimillion-dollar commercial projects and modular healthcare facilities. Known for his hands-on experience—building, permitting, and managing projects early in his career—Mike designs solutions that are both innovative and buildable. At Creature, he leads a mission to simplify the building process by eliminating silos and integrating workflows. Notably, Mike recently completed a two year tenure working with Blox, leading design and manufacturing for their Free-Standing Emergency Department (FED) Program, creating cutting-edge facilities for some of the largest healthcare construction buyers in the U.S including HCA, UHS and Atrium Health.
